The measurable climate change in recent decades and projected future that has seen temperatures of the Earths atmosphere rise considerably. It is believed that abnormaly high levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses in the Earth's atmosphere are a cause of global warming.
Cars are a major contributor to carbon dioxide in our attmosphere. Carpooling is one effort that results in lower carbon dioxide production by reducing the number of cars used to carry passengers on their commutes.

Hi. I own a martial arts school in staten island. My girlfriend and I share a car but she just got a new job. I am looking for anyone to split the costs of transport with. I will even pay the majority of GAS and TOLL, since I won't be driving. I just want to avoid going into manhattan and taking the x-17 bus. I am looking to carpool along Rt. 95/128 from Newton to Wakefield in Massachusetts, from one to five days a week, leaving Newton around 8:00 AM and returning around 6:00 PM. No smoking. NPR or classical radio preferred.
