The measurable climate change in recent decades and projected future that has seen temperatures of the Earths atmosphere rise considerably. It is believed that abnormaly high levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses in the Earth's atmosphere are a cause of global warming.
Cars are a major contributor to carbon dioxide in our attmosphere. Carpooling is one effort that results in lower carbon dioxide production by reducing the number of cars used to carry passengers on their commutes.

Very flexible with hours. I can start work anytime at or before 9am and leave work after 4:30pm. Smoker or non-smoker, it doesn't matter. Can provide gas money. Got screwed out of carpool arrangement yesterday, so that deal is done. Car is shot, and probably looking at late January or early February before I can afford to get another. Traveling to Temple University Main Campus, Parking Lot 7 (next to the Engineering Building) on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the 2011 fall semester. I plan to leave the NE by 1030 and will leave TU between 1500 and 1600. My car is smoke, food and drink free. All passengers are required to wear seat belts at all times and are expected to contribute something toward the expenses.
